Java Developer - Pasadena

We love Java developers more than anyone! We're looking for exceptional developers, from junior to senior level, that are interested in working on a product that is re-imaging eCommerce. If you're as much of a creative thinker as you are an awesome coder then we want to hear from you.

We are looking for a self-starter with creative thinking and solid skills package to add value to our growing team. This is a full-time position with competitive salary, benefits package and high professional growth potential at great location - Old Town Pasadena.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Design, architect and implement core server-side functionality covering all aspects of modern eCommerce system from shipping to stock management to marketing to multi-channel connectivity.
  • Analyze various API specifications and implement integration with numerous 3rd party systems ( previous experience with Amazon, eBay and other e-commerce platform APIs is a plus)
  • Work on front end development of a web application
  • Provide inside expertise and advisory support in issue resolution for customers and partners
  • Participate in agile development process, perform peer reviews
  • Support the product improvements through continuous integration and testing procedures

Requirements

  • Experience in full-stack Java development: Spring, Struts, Hibernate
  • Experience with web-based systems
  • REST API experience is a plus
  • Experience with jQuery, CSS, HTML
  • Experience with RDBMS and good understanding of SQL
  • Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Selenium is a plus
  • Web services, SOAP, Axis is a plus
  • Knowledge of Linux administration is a plus
  • Understanding of core financial accounting concepts is a big plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, can-do attitude, comfort of working in a start-up atmosphere

Launch Specialist - Pasadena

We are a rapidly growing, revenue-generating SaaS eCommerce company, providing a multi-channel inventory, warehouse and financial management system. If you want the opportunity to help scale a fast-growing start-up, this could be the opportunity for you!


The Launch Specialist is a tech-savvy individual who has a blended skill set including project management, user experience, and business analyst skills. The role will include definition and oversight of implementation process of our multi-channel software platform, managing customer facing software development projects, and identifying and implementing user experience/product enhancements.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Perform the role of project manager and account manager on projects, taking ownership in the deliverables and driving the projects through to completion.
  • Analyze our customer’s business operations and needs, and provide implementation and business consulting in order to successfully implement our software.
  • Perform analysis and conversion of customer’s data files and ensure smooth data migration from their existing system(s) to Jazva.
  • Conduct onsite and remote trainings of Jazva’s functions and processes.
  • Accurately gather details and specs from client on requested custom solutions
  • Work with Launch Manager and Development team to prepare specs on custom solutions and to ensure the timely and successful delivery of custom solutions to clients;
  • Resolve customer inquiries by clarifying issues; researching answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating issues as needed.
  • Implement best practices on customer implementation, customer support, workflow management, training, and reporting metrics.
  • Identify and recommend product enhancements, features, and changes to improve the system.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
  • Ecommerce or technical background with experience working with online sales channels/marketplaces, ecommerce platforms, etc.
  • Strong experience in project management and account management
  • Possess strong consulting and problem solving skills.
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated track record of multi-tasking.
  • Possess business acumen to identify and drive products goals with a strong affinity for data and analytics
  • Experience providing effective training or instruction of systems or processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent listening and customer service skills.
  • Ability to convey technical jargon and issues in a way customers can easily understand
  • Experience developing customer-facing documentation.
  • Ability to manage customer expectations and relationships
  • Self-starting fast learner capable of absorbing high volumes of information
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Ability to quickly adapt and adjust effectively to handle changes in priorities and assignments.


Not required, but a plus:

  • Experience with ERP systems, EDI, and/or accounting solutions
  • Minor programming skills, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of user experience and user information flow.

Product Support Specialist - Pasadena

A fast growing eCommerce software startup company is looking for a skilled product support specialist. This is a full-time position for a technology-savvy individual with knowledge of enterprise software business, software support services, and eCommerce applications. You will be considered as Jazva’s front-liner and you will be tasked with solving basic technical problems and provide support for all assigned areas. The goal is to make sure that Jazva’s customers find value in all of their interactions with the support team.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer support via phone, live chat, and help desk ticket system
  • Properly Evaluate, Troubleshoot, Escalate, and Document issues
  • Perform web-based customer training
  • Assist the implementation team in the user on-boarding process
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Recommend procedure modifications or improvement
  • Maintain and update articles for Jazva's knowledge base library

Requirements
